Baths of Aphrodite

According to the tradition, the Goddess of Love Aphrodite bathed in the natural cave, located at the end of the small nature trail, which is received its name from. As legend has it, Aphrodite met her lover, the beautiful Adonis, when he stopped to drink water and chasing and love.

This beautiful spot is located just after Latchi harbour towards the edge of the Akamas peninsula.

Latchi

Latchi is located  between the town of Polis Chrysochous, the Baths of Aphrodite and Neo Chorio village.

The Harbour of Latchi is famous throughout Cyprus for its fresh fish and many fish restaurants loacted along the beach front and the beautiful small harbour.

Latchi accepts many daily visitors, tourists and locals, who come to enjoy the beautiful fishmeze, beautiful scenery and swim in the warm sea of the nearby sandy beach.

BUS TRANSPORTATION SERVICE

Visitors have the opportunity to visit these areas of Paphos and elsewhere by bus. The Bus runs daily routes from Paphos to Polis Chrysochous, Latchi and  Baths of Aphrodite, by the bus company NEA AMOROZA  LTD.

The route starts from the central bus station "Karavella" that lies at the heart of the city of Paphos and also ends in the same place on return.
