This route starts from Coral Bay following the coastal road of Kissonerga, Chlorakas, Kato Paphos, via horbour, the coastal road of Geroskipou and the road to Geroskipou, "Eleouthkia" Park towards Petra tou Romiou.
This route offers the opportunity to enjoy a short trip to the exquisite beautiful landscape according to legend Aphrodite emerged from the waves, the Greek goddess of love and beauty. The Greek name, Petra tou Romiou, is associated with the legendary Byzantine hero, Digenis Akritas, who kept the Saracens at bay in the Gulf with incredible strength. It is said that he lifted a huge rock and threw it into the sea destroying the enemy ships. The area is included in the Aphrodite Cultural Route.
The huge stone is an interesting geological phenomenon that creates one of the most impressive examples of its kind in Cyprus.

The visitor can combine the journey with a visit to the Traditional & Botanical Park (Anarita) located on the same route just 15 minutes before arriving at Petra tou Romiou. In the Park you can also enjoy traditional food and learn about the rich tradition of Cyprus.
